Texas High School Volleyball - Mt. Pleasant bounced by Texas

Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Texas improves its record to 23-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, October 21. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 29-12. Whitehouse won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX)

Next, the Tigers meet the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 6-23 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 29-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Tyler (Tyler, TX).
