October 18, 2023: Belton, MO 65338 Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Belton Pirates (Belton, MO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Chrisman will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fort Osage (Independence, MO).
The Pirates now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee's Summit for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 23. Belton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Park Hill South (Riverside, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
