Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Minutemen (11-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 19-11 record. In their last challenge, Aurora edged Seward (Seward, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Crete will attempt to upgrade on its 7-21 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 10-19 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bennington (Bennington, NE).
