In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Northwest Vikings volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Lexington Minutemen.

With the win, Northwest improves its record to 15-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Alliance (Alliance, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-15. Alliance lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE)

Next, the Minutemen meet the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) in a B District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Dusters come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE).
