October 19, 2022: Trinity, NC 27370 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), saw Wheatmore's soccer squad knock off Southwestern Randolph by a count of 4-1.
The Warriors now hold a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, October 24. Wheatmore will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Southwestern Randolph drops to 7-10 on the season. The Cougars host Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to meet the Eagles in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Wednesday, October 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-8.
