September 26, 2022: Asheboro, NC 27205 Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Wheatmore will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC).
The Cougars now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Stanly for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 3-4.
