Oregon High School Volleyball - Ida B. Wells tips Sunset
October 19, 2024: Portland, OR 97229 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ida B. Wells Guardians (Portland, OR) and the host Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), observed Ida B. Wells's volleyball team hold off Sunset by a tally of 2-1.
The Guardians (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Beavers enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Beaverton was tipped by Jesuit (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Apollos meet the Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. Sunset will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to McMinnville (McMinnville, OR).
