Virginia High School Volleyball - Glenvar can't hold off Blacksburg
October 2, 2023: Salem, VA 24153 In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Blacksburg Bruins volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Glenvar Highlanders.
The Bruins (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Pulaski County was edged by Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Highlanders clash with the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Glenvar will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).
