Virginia High School Volleyball - Glenvar tips Blacksburg
August 28, 2023: Blacksburg, VA 24060 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) and the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), saw Glenvar's volleyball squad nip Blacksburg by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Glenvar upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Highlanders host William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
The Bruins now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. Blacksburg will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
