In Monday's league contest, the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) volleyball squad edged the host Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino contest, on Wednesday, October 4. Milpitas will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).

With the loss, Saratoga drops to 10-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA) to battle the Firebirds in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino contest on Wednesday, October 4. The Firebirds come into the contest with a record of 4-17. Fremont lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA)
