Missouri High School Softball - Warrensburg drops to Belton
October 2, 2024: Warrensburg, MO 64093 Belton Pirates (Belton, MO) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Warrensburg Tigers (Warrensburg, MO), 11-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Belton improves its record to 20-8 on the year. The Pirates host Truman (Independence, MO) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Thursday, October 3. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 10-19. Truman won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Ruskin (Kansas City, MO)
The Tigers now hold a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Odessa for a Class 3 District 14 game on Thursday, October 3. Warrensburg will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-3.
