October 2, 2024: Athens, GA 30622 The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines overwhelmed the visiting Stephens County Indians softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Hebron Christian Lions (Dacula, GA) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Prince Avenue Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 17-1 league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA).
The Indians (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the 2A Region 8 challenge with a 16-9 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County held off Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 5-0, in a league challenge.
