August 20, 2024: Elberton, GA 30635 The Stephens County Indians softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Elbert County Blue Devils to 4 in the Indians non-league win on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 21. Stephens County will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 5-2 league loss to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Elbert County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 9-1. Hebron Christian lost 16-10 in their recent non-league battle against Marist (Atlanta, GA)
