In Thursday's league match, the host Millard West Wildcats softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Omaha Central Eagles.

The Wildcats (22-7) will now prepare for their match against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs come into the A District match with a 24-8 record. In their last match, Papillion-LaVista notched a victory over Marian (Omaha, NE), 9-1, in a league match.
