In Monday's league match, the visiting Papillion-LaVista Monarchs softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Omaha Central Eagles.

The Monarchs (22-8) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators come into the non-league match with a 7-16 record. In their last game, Lincoln North Star defeated Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 11-3, in a non-league game.

The Eagles now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Mercy for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 30. Omaha Central will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Gretna East (Gretna, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-20.
