Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 11-0 in a league match.

The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains go into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Bellevue East gained a win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE), 5-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) in a A District match, on Saturday, September 6. Omaha Central will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 7-3 record after their 6-4 league win over Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE).
