The Millard South Patriots softball squad (Omaha, NE), was edged 4-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE)

With the triumph, Omaha Westside improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Marian (Omaha, NE) to battle the Crusaders in a A District bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Marian lost 7-1 in their recent non-league bout against Millard South (Omaha, NE)

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Millard South will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 6-8 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE).
