In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Portageville Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

The Bulldogs (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dexter (Dexter, MO). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Dexter was defeated by Advance (Advance, MO), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennett for a non-league test on Monday, October 6.
