The North Stokes Vikings edged the visiting South Davidson Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Vikings face the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 6. North Stokes will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).

The Wildcats (5-15) will now prepare for their game against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Bears go into the Greater Triad 1A/2A game with a 8-11 record.
