Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview Ross

The Northview Wildcats volleyball squad (Sylvania, OH), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the host Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH)

With the win, Ross moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Little Giants travel to Perkins (Sandusky, OH) to battle the Pirates in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 10-9. Perkins lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH)

Next, the Wildcats battle the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Northview will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Generals enter the contest with a 19-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH).

FREMONT - An NLL divisional crossover match between Fremont Ross and Northview and it was the Little Giants with the victory in four sets, to move Northview to 11-7 overall, 7-5 in the NLL.
Leading for the Cats was sophomore middle blocker, Reese Holmes with 5 kills, hitting .455, while adding a team-high 4 blocks. The Cats received a team-high 12 blocks from senior Talia Twigg, eight from senior Bri Langenderfer, 7 from junior Frankie Ramsdell-Washington and 6 from freshman Lilly Smith. Defensively, the Cats tallied 13 digs from sophomore Jade Hagan and 11 from junior Kyra Ervin. Junior setter, Alayna Sauer, dished out 39 assist and added 9 digs and 3 kills.
The Cats will enjoy a weekend off before starting their final week of the regular season on Tuesday for Pink Night vs. Anthony Wayne.
