The Union Area Scotties football team (New Castle, PA), was ripped 49-15 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA)

The Rams (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Rams come into the WPIAL A Big 7 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Rochester trounced Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA), 42-8, in a league challenge.

The Scotties now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Summit Academy for a WPIAL A Big 7 challenge on Thursday, October 26. Union Area will meet a Knights team coming off a 30-6 league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.
