The Liberty Panthers volleyball squad (Liberty, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX)

The Falcons (29-13) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 15-13 record. In their last contest, Livingston got by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

The Panthers now own a 26-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamshire-Fannett for a 4A Region III District 19 test on Friday, October 24. Liberty will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Shepherd (Shepherd, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-26.
