Virginia High School Volleyball - Staunton River overwhelmed by William Byrd
October 22, 2024: Vinton, VA 24179 The William Byrd Terriers topped the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Terriers face the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge game, on Thursday, October 24. William Byrd will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Vikings go into the game with a 5-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
The Golden Eagles (2-17) will now prepare for their game against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the Blue Ridge game with a 1-18 record. In their last game, Fleming went down by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
