October 23, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 The East Davidson Golden Eagles soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Thomasville Bulldogs to 1 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Gray Stone Day for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 24. East Davidson will play a Knights squad coming off a 9-0 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Thomasville moves to 9-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Lexington (Lexington, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a Central Carolina 1A/2A bout on Monday, October 28. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 10-10. Lexington won 10-1 in their recent league bout against South Davidson (Denton, NC)
