North Carolina High School Soccer - East Davidson knocks off Lexington
October 7, 2024: Lexington, NC 27292 Fans at Monday's league battle between the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) and the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw East Davidson's soccer squad triumph over Lexington by a count of 8-0.
The Golden Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, McMichael was overwhelmed by North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
