The Payson Longhorns nudged the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Longhorns now possess a 27-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilbert Christian for a 3A - Metro game on Monday, October 27. Payson will confront a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 25-7.

The Crusaders (22-6) will now prepare for their game against San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Sabercats go into the 3A - Metro game with a 5-15 record.
