Louisiana High School Football - Ascension Catholic tops North Iberville

The Ascension Catholic Bulldogs football squad scored 50 points and limited the host North Iberville Bears to 28 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Castle for a 1A District 8 test on Friday, October 31. Ascension Catholic will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-12 league loss to Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.

With the defeat, North Iberville drops to 7-1 on the season. The Bears host East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 8 challenge on Thursday, October 30. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. East Iberville lost 49-14 in their recent league challenge against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)
