St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Bishop Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA), 41-7 in a league battle.

With the win, St. Paul improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Swordsmen host Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to play the Spirits in a Angelus battle on Friday, October 31. The Spirits go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Paraclete won 42-35 in their recent league battle against St. Francis (La Canada, CA)

The Warriors now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a Angelus test on Friday, October 31. Bishop Alemany will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 28-14 league loss to Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
