In Friday's league game, the Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) football team triumphed over the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), by a tally of 40-0.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 game, on Friday, October 31. Langston Hughes will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 14-7 league win over Northgate (Newnan, GA).
