The Mountain Island Charter Raptors football team (Mt. Holly, NC), was tipped 15-14 in Friday's league bout with the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC)

With the win, South Stanly advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls travel to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A bout on Friday, October 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Albemarle lost 21-14 in their recent league bout against North Rowan (Spencer, NC)
