The Raptors now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Mountain Island Charter will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 23-8 non-league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.
The Gryphons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers go into the Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, North Rowan toppled South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 20-14, in a league challenge.
