Georgia High School Softball - Heard County gets by Prince Avenue Christian
October 26, 2023: Franklin, GA 30217 The Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) softball nipped the visiting Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Braves (21-11) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 28-4 record. In their last bout, Mount Vernon held off Bacon County (Alma, GA), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 34-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dade County for a non-league bout on Friday, October 27. Prince Avenue Christian will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Metter (Metter, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 22-7.
