The High Point Central Bison volleyball team (High Point, NC), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC)

The Cougars (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers go into the Mid-State 3A bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Dudley notched a victory over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 3-1, in a league bout.

The Bison now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a Mid-State 3A bout on Thursday, October 5. High Point Central will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
