In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.

The Wildcats (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars come into the Mid-State 3A battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Rockingham County achieved victory over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
