With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 2-26 on the year. The Tigers host Marshall (Marshall, TX) to face the Mavericks in a 5A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, October 6. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 21-14.
The Pirates now own a 9-22 record. They play next when they host Whitehouse for a 5A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, October 6. Pine Tree will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 28-10.
