The Wesson Cobras walloped the host Enterprise Yellowjackets football team by a margin of 48-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Cobras now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Loyd Star for a 2A Region 7 outing on Friday, October 10. Wesson will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 29-18 league win over Wilkinson County (Woodville, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Enterprise drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Bogue Chitto won 36-6 in their recent non-league outing against Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS)
