With the win, Natchitoches Central advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Opelousas (Opelousas, LA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Opelousas lost 51-6 in their recent non-league bout against Zachary (Zachary, LA)

The Buccaneers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Benton for a 5A District 1 bout on Thursday, October 9. Haughton will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 42-35 non-league win over Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
