The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) and the host Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA), witnessed Natchitoches Central's football squad knock off Huntington by a tally of 33-14.

The Chiefs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers enter the 5A District 1 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Benton was toppled by Parkway (Bossier City, LA), 58-42, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders battle the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 6. Huntington will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 48-17 league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA).
