Louisiana High School Football - Huntington thwarted by Captain Shreve

Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA), 56-34 in a league battle.

With the win, Captain Shreve improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Gators travel to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A District 1 battle on Friday, September 19. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Natchitoches Central lost 63-42 in their recent league battle against Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA)

Coming up next, the Raiders meet the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Huntington will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 50-18 league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA).
