Texas High School Football - Tomball nudges Klein

In Friday's league match, the host Tomball Cougars football squad scored a close 53-47 victory over the Klein Bearkats.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The Panthers enter the 6A Region II District 15 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Klein Oak got by Klein Collins (Spring, TX), 36-35, in a league battle.

The Bearkats now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Magnolia West for a 6A Region II District 15 battle on Thursday, October 9. Klein will play a Mustangs team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Tomball (Tomball, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
