New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX), 43-20 in a league battle.

With the win, New Boston advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lions host De Kalb (De Kalb, TX) to confront the Bears in a 3A-2 Region III District 10 match on Friday, October 10. The Bears come into the match with a record of 3-3. De Kalb lost 45-28 in their recent league match against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX)
