Bullard Panthers (Bullard, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bullard improves its record to 24-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 29-7. Madisonville won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Center (Center, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Rusk will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 19-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX).
