Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Clifton advances its record to 30-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to McGregor (McGregor, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 10-16. McGregor lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against West (West, TX)

With the loss, Troy drops to 18-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Whitney (Whitney, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, October 7.
