Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) and the visiting Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA), observed Tunstall's volleyball team top Mecklenburg County by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Tunstall improves its record to 18-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 4. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 16-7. Lord Botetourt won 3-1 in their recent league test against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)

The Phoenix now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson Forest for a non-league challenge on Monday, November 3. Mecklenburg County will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-8.
