Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX), 35-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Irvin advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Rockets host Clint (Clint, TX) to play the Lions in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, November 7. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Clint lost 15-14 in their recent league battle against Fabens (Fabens, TX)

The Wildcats now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a 4A-1 Region I District 1 match on Friday, November 7. Fabens will confront a Rangers squad coming off a 61-50 league loss to Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 7-2.
