Texas High School Football - Fabens nudges San Elizario

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) and the host San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX), witnessed Fabens's football squad edge San Elizario by a tally of 35-28.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos enter the 4A-1 Region I District 1 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Mountain View was nudged by Ysleta (El Paso, TX), 52-15, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 battle, on Friday, September 26. San Elizario will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 34-14 league win over Bowie (El Paso, TX).
