Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) and the visiting Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), saw Fabens's football team prevail over Mountain View by a final score of 26-6.

With the win, Fabens advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Austin (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 bout on Friday, October 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Austin lost 43-28 in their recent league contest against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)

Coming up next, the Lobos confront the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 contest, on Friday, October 3. Mountain View will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 49-7 league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX).
