The Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) football trounced the host Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV), 55-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league game on Friday, November 7. Midland Trail will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 42-16 league loss to Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Greenbrier West drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Gilmer County (Glenville, WV) to clash with the Titans in a non-league outing on Friday, November 7. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 3-6. Gilmer County lost 68-6 in their recent league outing against Wahama (Mason, WV)
