St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA), 31-24 in a league battle.

With the win, St. Paul's advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wolves host Covington (Covington, LA) to play the Lions in a 5A District 6 battle on Friday, November 7. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Covington lost 24-14 in their recent league battle against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA)

The Skippers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fontainebleau for a non-league match on Friday, November 7. Mandeville will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-19 league loss to Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
