The Bishop Manogue Miners got by the host Reed Raiders football team by a score of 42-35 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners face the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a 5A Division II Northern challenge, on Friday, October 18. Bishop Manogue will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 34-12 league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).

The Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the 5A Division II Northern challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Douglas nipped McQueen (Reno, NV), 49-21, in a league challenge.
